We (PROMAN) are looking for a Production Supervisor.

Job Summary:

Primary responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a production process.

Essential Job Functions:

Planning, monitoring, communicating job expectations and appraising job results; counseling, disciplining and coaching employees; coordinating, initiating, and enforcing systems, procedures, and policies.

Ensure operation of equipment by evaluating new equipment and calling for repairs of old ones.

Educate and direct employees on the use of equipment, all control points, and resources

·      Manage the organization of materials in assigned production area.

·      Identify potential material shortages and communicate with relevant department.

·      Approve time cards for employee’s reporting to you.

·      Manage production operations and schedules to meet operating objectives.

·      Adhere to all safety standards and operating procedures.

·      Other functions as directed by management.

Job Requirements:

·      Ability to plan and organize work for self and others.

·      Ability to read and monitor basic quality checks from a print.

Key Competencies:

·      Basic arithmetic, writing and reading comprehension skills used to record and transfer data.

·      Basic computer skills.

·      Solid problem-solving skills.

·      Attention to detail is a must.

·      Communication skills written and verbal.

·      Teamwork.

·      Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgements.

Work Environment:  

This job operates in a manufacturing environment which requires a thorough knowledge of the industry and understanding of the importance of safety.
