Stephanie Swepson Twitty is a native of WNC, Old Fort, NC she is married to Paul Twitty II. Stephanie is a Mother, Grandmother and is presently employed as President and CEO by Eagle Market Streets Development Corporation, CDC (EMSDC). Stephanie is a 27+ year veteran in the Not-for-Profit Industry, she is an economic development professional, focused on equitable-inclusive opportunities, on asset building and wealth creation and on developing more "just", resilient communities in WNC.

Stephanie is skilled in community real estate development, is proficient in community economic development, in fund development and, grant writing, has expertise in nonprofit board governance and management and holds a certificate of completion from the National Finance Development Council, in Economic Development Finance. She is highly experienced and trained in banking, finance and accounting and is knowledgeable and proficient with the use of accounting software for nonprofits.

Stephanie oversees EMSDC’s day to day operations and employees as well as EMSDC subsidiary holdings: Incubate to Innovate (I2I)--70 S Mkt St Asheville, NC; the Catawba Vale Business HUB, Coffee Co-working/ Lease Space (CVC HUB), and the future home of the Catawba Vale Collaborative, LLC, Commercial Lease space (CVIM), 37 & 96 Commerce St--Old Fort, NC respectively-

EMSDC is a mature community based, economic development not for profit--but for community benefit organization. (NPO). EMSDC has been serving the greater Asheville community for more than 30+ years.

I am a financial advisor with a passion to serve individuals, families, and businesses within my community in a meaningful way. My Senior Branch Office Administrator, Melissa Hughes, my true partner in serving our community, and I are here to build our community through serving. She excels at taking care of our clients' administrative needs with exceptional personalized and prompt attention. Together, Melissa, and I have over 18 years of combined experience serving clients and look forward to partnering with you to help meet your goals and strategies.

I have a background in financial strategies, along with the ability to help guide in more unique situations. A few of which include working with trusts, special needs, caretakers and business specific strategies. I am here to be a partner and mentor in my clients' lives, guiding through life's many events and investment decisions, so that you can move forward with confidence and security. I believe education is one of the foundation blocks in our relationship and strive for every interaction to be one that is educational and improves each clients' position in their goals.

I am originally from Sawmills, NC, and later relocated with my family for some time to enjoy the Colorado Mountains. As blessed as I was to spend time in the Rockies, I am extremely happy to return home here in Marion, NC, where my family and I can enjoy everything that the Blue Ridge Mountains have to offer! I have four children, one of which is grown and off to college. When I am not working, I enjoy spending my time with them and enjoying time deep in the mountains or enjoying art and festivals.
