The Community Engagement Project is excited to announce the next opportunity for racial equity training. The Phase 1 training, facilitated by Racial Equity Institute, will be hosted virtually via Zoom October 26^th and 27^th, 2022, 9am-5pm both days. Thanks to generous support from Duke Energy Foundation and Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust, this training is free for participants. Please note, participation is required for the full 8 hours, both days. The training is participatory, and there will be times when folks are split into small groups, so being fully present is necessary.

During the 2021 training, we had some folks commit to participating and back out at the last minute. Please take the time to thoughtfully consider your commitment, as this training has a value of $300 that we are covering.

Due to our generous funding, we have funds to help cover childcare costs and/or work missed because of your training participation. Please reach out directly to ginger@westmarion.org for further information.
