SUPER SATURDAYS! in July at the Orchard

The Orchard at Altapass is happy to present another summer of Super Saturdays!—heritage adventures for all kids 6-12 through August from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Super Saturdays provide Appalachian heritage activities for children that give them opportunities to learn while having fun. Sessions are FREE, and the Orchard provides all materials. There are no prerequisites. Parents are welcome.

13:     Learn about Water Quality with Whitney from the Toe Cane Watershed
20:     National Park Service Ranger Program (July 6 class not required)
27:     Create Puppets with Sherry Lovett
 
Located at 1025 Orchard Road near Spruce Pine at mile marker 328.3 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Orchard is a not-for-profit working orchard, music, and educational venue.
