SiriusXM Radio Host/Entertainer Live at the Annual Member Banquet!

Blue Collar Radio & Family Comedy Channel Personality and Nashville Artist to be the first nationally-known act to perform at the Municipal Event Center

Marion, NC:  January 2019

Blue Collar Comedy's Patrick Henry to Perform at the MEC! Prepare to laugh, tap your feet, and be inspired by nationally syndicated humorist, Nashville entertainer, and SiriusXM radio personality Patrick Henry at this year’s Annual Membership Banquet on Thursday, March 14, 2019, from 5:30-9 p.m.

Patrick will bring his comedic talents to Marion for one night only at the Municipal Event Center (MEC). He will be the first nationally-known act to perform at the 13,000-square-foot space located inside the former Rock-Tenn facility. Chamber director Steve Bush is excited to host the event there saying that members will have the opportunity to see and experience the center, which is jointly funded and operated by the Chamber and the City of Marion.
“Holding our Annual Banquet at the MEC is a fitting testament to the work and investment the Chamber has made on behalf of its members to bring this great event space to our downtown area,” said Bush. “We are excited to host top-rated talent such as Patrick Henry for all to enjoy.”
Along with great entertainment, expect fabulous fare from a local restaurant, lively concoctions from XYZ Spirits, LLC including local beer and wine. The public is encouraged to attend and see the MEC in its finery.
The Annual Banquet is held to honor its members and bestow the coveted Duke Energy Citizenship Award. The award was conceived in 2004 as a tribute to 'individuals or groups who make a difference in their communities or places of work by using their time, talents and compassion to positively impact the lives of others. Recipients of the award help foster a culture of citizenship and service that acts as a catalyst for others to become involved in civic and social activities. Something the Chamber strongly endorses.
Tickets are $30 for members, $35 for the general public, and $40 for VIP (front row) seating. Make it a group outing by purchasing a table (seats 8) for $350. Tickets can be purchased online at and at the Chamber office located at 1170 W. Tate St. in Marion.

The event is brought to you by the generous sponsorship of the Corpening Memorial YMCA
. The Citizenship Award is provided by Duke Energy Carolinas.
