My name is Misty, and I am the Chair and Co-Founder of McDowell Young Professionals. As a McDowell County native, I have seen our community grow and change, and I am excited to be part of it! McDowell Young Professionals is an organization dedicated to promoting an environment both to attract and retain young professionals through events dedicated to service, professional development, and social gatherings in our local community. I am proud of the way this organization has grown and am eager to see what our own young professionals can put back into the community that raised us. 

I'm the local representative for Spectrum Business in Asheville, Marion, Waynesville and other areas of WNC like Burnsville and Weaverville.  Basically, I'm the local face of my company, Spectrum Business or Charter, whichever you prefer to call us.  Our fantastic team of technicians in WNC make it possible for me to take pride in being your local Spectrum Business rep. An ever-growing group of young people in our community needed a space to learn from one another, hone our professional skills, and give back to our community--and McDowell Young Professionals was born!
