My name is Burnie Durand Parker, but I generally go by my middle name, Durand. My wife, Andrea, and I live here in McDowell (she is from Old Fort) and I have a career in health care from RN to paramedic, serving the residents of this county.  An injury prompted a career change and that's when I started Parker Precision Knife and Tool Sharpening, and I love it. I love to help people bring their worn and trusted tools back to life. I sharpen and get rid of nicks in knives and tools and remove rust and treat the metal to prevent rust from returning. Let me help you sharpen your skills!

Katie is the Market Success Manager for 21st Century Oncology/GenesisCare in McDowell County. She works with Asheville Urological, Asheville Hematology & Oncology and Radiation Therapy Associates to help provide oncology & urology care to the area. She is available to assist physicians and the community if they need anything from these offices.
