Who is ready to TEE OFF for the most fun Golf Tournament in Town?
Gather up your best golfers for the McDowell Chamber of Commerce's Annual Golf Classic set for Friday, August 28, 2020, at the Marion Lake Club Golf Course. This year's event is sponsored by Holly's Deli & Desserts, Pepsi Co., G.E.M. Constructors, South McDowell Quarry, and Countryside Barbeque.

MLC Golf Pro Greg Parker and Chamber Executive Director Steve Bush will send players off on the greens in search of big prizes.
Registration for the Captain's Choice-style tournament is open to four-person teams with a scramble format followed by catered lunch from Countryside Barbecue.
The Golf Ball Drop Raffle tickets are also available for sale that will garner one lucky winner, half of the pot. While the golfers attempt to land a hole-in-one for a chance to win a 2020 vehicle and other prizes provided by Jim Cook Chevrolet, the spectators and fans will also have a chance to win up to $2,500 cash with the 50/50 Golf Ball Drop Raffle (sponsored by JC Property Professionals) held directly following the tournament!
Spectators and golfers will gather around the putting green to witness the Big Drop! Bounding from 40 feet in the air, the first ball that makes it into the hole or closest to the hole wins! More than 300 numbered tickets are available for purchase! Tickets are $10 for one ball, $30 for five balls, $50 for 15 balls. The Ball Drop is exciting to watch and participants don't have to play in the tournament or be present to win.

Pre-registration can be done in the link and onsite registration begins at noon on Friday followed by lunch with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Registration includes green fees, access to range balls, and cart, plus a catered lunch and beverage cart. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners in each flight.
