Join us for our annual Legislative Gathering as we bring together business leaders and elected officials for a forward-focused discussion on the policies shaping McDowell County’s economic future. This year’s event aligns with the development of our 2026 Public Policy Agenda.

We are grateful to McDowell Technical Community College, our Presenting Sponsor and host, for their leadership in workforce development and economic growth.

Universal Advanced Manufacturing Center

The Universal Advanced Manufacturing Center is located on the campus of McDowell Technical Community College at 634 College Drive in Marion, North Carolina. This state-of-the-art training and workforce development facility supports advanced manufacturing education and industry partnerships in McDowell County. Conveniently located just off U.S. 70 and I-40, the campus offers ample parking and easy access for attendees.

Our Legislative Gathering will take place in the conference room located just inside the main lobby doors of the Universal Advanced Manufacturing Center.
